Supporting Remote Teams

Supporting Remote Teams

Interactive Session for Managers

Target audience: Managers of teams working remotely.

Objective: To help managers of teams working remotely to support each of their team members and foster contented, focussed and high-functioning teams.

Recent research has highlighted issues such as feelings of isolation, loneliness, and lack of motivation for remote team members. And research has also uncovered higher levels of stress for managers and supervisors of remote team members. There appears to be a need for managers/team leaders to have

(a) A fuller understanding of the nature and challenge of managing remote teams

(b) Clear actions to address these challenges and

(c) An effective methodology to implement the suggested actions with their teams.

In association with  Sinead O’Neill (Sinead O’Neill Life Team and Business coaching) we  aim to address the above needs. In both our

practices Sinead and ATPO have been responding to an ever-increasing demand for guidance from managers of remote teams.

We are now providing a series of interactive practical sessions for managers of teams working remotely who wish to provide top quality support to their team members. Utilising our wide range of expertise and combined experience as managers we have developed a highly interactive session that will ensure that all attendees will benefit to the maximum.

Key Take-Aways for Managers:

  • An understanding of the underlying psychology of remote team working. Including general well-being, creativity, collaboration, and remote management skills.

  • A chance for attendees to share their specific challenges and solutions with other managers of remote teams.

  • 10 practical and effective actions for managers to maximise support for their remote teams which lead to content, focussed, and high functioning team members.

  • A graduated framework for managers to implement the suggested actions with their teams.
